Our
involvement with suri llamas has had a remarkable impact on our lives. Their beauty and elegance have fascinated us
and drawn us into becoming dedicated llama owners. Their boundless curiosity and exceptional
intelligence combine to make each individual character truly unique, and all
llamas dramatically different from every other livestock species. In every season, these llamas are beautiful
and entertaining. The playful romping
of the youngsters, the tranquility of the dams, and the proud majesty of the
herdsires all combine to create the extraordinary llama experience....
Mystic
Moon Llamas is situated in the beautiful rolling mountains of western Vermont. The property is on a peaceful dirt road, and
consists of 1000 acres of pristine meadows, woodland, and the Coy Mountain
range. Two farms on the property are
home to the llama herd, and the third is inhabited by nine Icelandic
ponies. Each
animal at Mystic Moon has been acquired from among some of the most influential
breeders in the nation. We value
pedigree as well as phenotype; and we research bloodlines thoroughly. Our breeding program focuses on producing
sound and healthy llamas with excellent conformation, temperaments, and suri
fiber. Our herd now numbers
twenty llamas, including our proven true black E-Line suri herdsire, GNLC
Ballistic. All of our llamas are ILR
registered and several are SLA keured as
well.
We enjoy showing visitors
our farm and look forward to welcoming you to Mystic Moon Suri Llamas!
